Weight per square foot ranges from 11 lbs up to 15 lbs which is heavier than most phony stone but a fraction of the weight of full dimension natural stone!
There are literally HUNDREDS of thin veneer choices available but they are very expensive to stock and the market for them is tiny so we treat each inquiry as a special order. The upside of this is that we can usually have the order shipped directly from quarry to customer at a lower cost than if we had to stock the material.
We do not stock an inventory of natural thin veneer stone but have a few of the more popular types installed on the exterior of our office.
